Dr. Lorraine Hurley graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1997 and was Board Certified in Family Medicine in 2001 following residency at the University of MA Medical Center. She worked in a busy group practice in Harwich, Massachusetts for 2 years before becoming certified in Functional Medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. This enabled her to combine functional, environmental and nutritional medicine with traditional care.

Upon further training in energetic medicine (Certified Quantum Biofeedback Specialist) and the successful introduction of educational workshops as a means of delivering holistic care, she changed her business model and services and founded Health for Life. Health for Life was a consultation and education service that provided workshops as well as individualized programs of lifestyle changes to achieve optimal health and reverse disease processes.

Today Dr. Hurley is an educator, researcher, public speaker, truth activist, free-lance writer, health consultant and the host of a nationally syndicated radio show on the Genesis Communication Network entitled Uncommon Awareness.

Her personal focus at present is her own ongoing growth and evolution of consciousness. She continues to develop herself as a resource for a questioning and awakening public. She adores travel and lives with her husband and daughter on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
